    An opportunity for an experienced Data Manager to join a well established global pharmaceutical company as Associate Manager, Clinical Data Co-ordination within the Data Operations department.

    <b>THE ROLE</b>

    The Data Operations department is responsible for the accurate reporting of clinical trials using validated computer programs in compliance with relevant regulatory guidelines. This role is aimed at co-ordination/project management for in-house and contracted out studies within the Data Management group and includes interaction with Clinical Research (phase’s I-IV).

    <b>Key Responsibilities</b>
    <ul>
    </li>Co-ordination of contracted out studies and in-house studies for data management in order to meet the project timeline
    </li>Primary contact for CROs for contracted out Data operations project
    </list>Supervision of Clinical Data Assistants and Assistant CDC staff
    </li>Key contact for the contracted out studies
    </list>Co-ordinates Quality Control activities as described in the relevant Data Management SOP's
    </list>Liaison with customers, clinical research and Biometrics as Data Management contact person for the relevant projects
    </list>Fully responsible for the preparation and maintenance of data management study file complying with company SOP’s
    </list>Developing and maintenance of standards/procedures in Data Management group in collaboration with Manager, Data Management
    </list>Coaching of assistant Clinical Data Co-ordinators


    <b>YOUR PROFILE</b>

    </list>Minimum 3 years experience in Data Management, obtained whilst working in either a pharmaceutical company or CRO
    </list>Science related degree
    </list>Proven project management skills
    </list>High level of spoken and written fluency in English

    <b>YOUR PROFILE</b>

    <ul>
    <li>Familiarity with standard programming practices and requirements in the pharmaceutical industry - Essential</li>
    <li>Degree or technical qualification in a statistics related discipline</li>
    <li>At least six years of programming experience with SASÃ’</li>
    <li>At least 4 years of experience in data management or biometrics activities related to clinical research and drug development</li>
    <li>2 years of line management experience</li>
    <li>Very good written and spoken English</li>
